Welcome to the Happy Islanders Surf Club!
Happy islanders and couple Andi Eigenmann and Philmar Alipayo are taking their love for surfing up a notch as they establish a new Instagram account dedicated to the sport!
On Andi's Instagram account, she shared a photo of her and Philmar carrying surfboards and wrote in the caption, “The founders of @happyislanders.surfclub! please give our little surfing club a follow. This is @chepoxz and my simple way of helping to promote surfing in the Philippines, just as papa had always wanted.”
“Once upon a time, he was just like them. With big dreams. Shout out to the OGs that believed in him from the start! -- @haranasurf, @fluidsurf_, @kudosurf, @shaka_cafes and @cfc_restobar! it was their kindness and support that inspired him to do the same,” Andi further shares.
In order to pass the opportunity to the next generation, Andi and Philmar are highlighting talented surfers on their newly built Instagram page. Andi said, “We are proud of our riders, but we know that they are only a few of the many young surfing talents we have in the country, and we hope that this is only the beginning of a great future for all of them!”
Featured on the Happy Islanders Surf Club are 17-year-old surfer Toby Espejon, award-winning surfer Remar Magaluna, rookie Jayuard Alciso, talented surfer Longlong Delmide, and lady slider Maureen Delamide.
